"A truly amazing trail race!"
Join us for the 5th annual Holdenwood Trail Run 5k/2k trail run/walk on the scenic trails of Holdenwood in Shirley, Massachusetts.
Wind your way through stone rock walls on pine needle covered trails as you enjoy the fall foilage. This trail run/walk is truly unique for its beautiful setting and sense of community. The idyllic Holdenwood trails offer a mix of stone lined meadows, wooded trails, and several interesting features along the way including the Stone Crossing that make this event unique.
Thanks to the generosity of our hosts, the Holden family, the trails are prepared and groomed especially for this run. For those seeking a running challenge, the rolling hills and steep travereses will not disappoint!
There is no need to leave the kids at home! This is a family event. Children are encouraged to particiate in the run or walk. The Shirley Day of Play, which follows the trail run, is a free event for the entire family full of great activities and good food.
Funds raised through the trail run will support the Ayer-Shirley Educational Foundation in its mission to enhance the educational excellence of our public schools.
